From May 23rd to 25th, 2023 we had the opportunity to present VERIABLE to an interested expert audience at the Austrian common stand of foreign trade in Karlsruhe.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all visitors to our stand for their interest and exciting questions and discussions on the topics of e-learning and VERIABLE. The feedback on our product was very positive and we were also able to take one or the other suggestion with us.
I would like to emphasize particularly the input of being able to export course templates and then import them again as a new course template.
This makes it possible - in addition to the already existing variants - to break the mould in monetising knowledge.

Course templates can be translated efficiently into another language with translation programs and imported again as new course templates after the translation. In this way, knowledge can be translated by professional translation agencies and the acquired know-how can be offered in different languages.

Course authors can create specific course templates and sell them to interested customers. This allows content authors to create courses for other VERIABLE customers and offer them for sale.
Highlights
One of the highlights was the interest in blockchain technology in the form of blockchain-validated digital certificates and the possibility of signing up with the Internet Identity on the platform as a participant and user.
These two fields of application of the blockchain technology solve the following problems:
- Ensuring that digital certificates of successful exams are authentic and valid, and
- that with the help of the Internet Identity it is very difficult to transfer purchased course enrolments.
Another focus was the strong interest in cooperation which surprised us a bit. For example, we got to know Swiss colleagues who would like to implement e-learning projects with us.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it can be stated that our trade fair appearance and our product presentation were very well received by the participants and we are already looking forward to next year.
