EdTech stands for Educational Technology, meaning digital applications for learning. EdTech Austria connects EdTech companies with other companies as well as with educational and research institutions to make Austria a leader in the development and use of digital educational technologies.
The EdTech Austria Summit takes place annually and aims to address questions about the future of education and emerging technologies. This year, the focus is on practical experiences with inspiring insights and perspectives from EdTechs and industry experts. In addition to keynotes, panels, presentations, and workshops, there will be plenty of time for networking and trying out new technologies in the Tech Tasting Area.
At our VERIABLE booth, visitors, teachers, and technology enthusiasts can experience live future technologies that are innovating digital teaching and learning and test the following:
- VERIABLE Community Course: This course showcases the learning platform from a participant’s perspective.
- IcAcademy: As an example of a VERIABLE learning platform, participants can take quizzes about the Internet Computer, a blockchain platform.
- BeProActive: Visitors create an Internet Identity and test it by logging into this decentralized fitness app.
